My first MG, still my favourite. Located in Melbourne (MGCC Vic). Favourite memory, at Kirwans Bridge VIC, on the way to the 75th anniversary rally in Nambour QLD. Won the furthest travelled trophy.

4 years ago we bought a 1967 MK1 MGB & have been busy bringing it up to roadworthy standard since. It is not Concourse standard, but a very enjoyable Club car especially living up here on the Sunshine coast.

Here is a photo of my fully restored (and improved) 1958 ZB MG Magnette. The bodywork is like new as is the upholstery. The motor has been upgraded to a 1800cc and fully rebuilt. An MGB gearbox has been installed and disc brakes fitted. The suspension has been upgraded with sway bars fitted front and back. The car has only done 2500 miles since restoration and is driven regularly (when allowed).

My 1964 MGB originally belonged to a member of our club. I was encouraged to have a go at a bit of racing and this car was perfect. Hubby took it up on his hoist, checked it over and fixed a couple of little problems and off I went. We often share the car for Autokhana’s, Motorkhana’s and Hill climbs. We even towed it across the Nullarbor and went to Tasmania for the MG Nat Meet 2 years ago competing in the racing events there. This has certainly enhanced my MG experience, MG’s are great little racing cars. Last year I was awarded Club Champion and Ladies Champion of our MGCCWA which was amazing in itself for such a new comer. My proudest achievement to date would be coming overall 2nd in the “Round the Houses” regularity in Albany WA. On my first drive 2 years ago I came overall second in my group. I continue to compete and would love more ladies to be encouraged to do the same. We live in Perth where there are some great events happening.

My 1971 MGB Automatic, got my son and his best man to church on time for his wedding. Did not miss a beat. This beautiful piece of machinery, is my pride and joy.

On the 10th Anniversary of the 2010 Peking to Paris Endurance Rally, attached are pics of my 1936 MG SA Saloon. Whilst no concourse trailer queen, this car has driven from Bejing to Paris overland, in an "off road" endurance marathon - without being on the end of a tow rope or back of a truck. Crossing the finish line was only possible by driving the last 150 metres by the starter motor. There were 2 other MG's in this rally for company, another MG SA (Keller) and also a 1956 MG ZA ... and all crossed the finishing arch togther. The car may have been built in the 30's, but it was a very comfortable (and classy) way to rally and the motor ran faultlessly, in fact the same car ran the rally again. The rally entry was made not only possible by my family and my co-driver John Hastie and his family, but also the wider network of members form the MG Car Club or Victoria, as well as the ingenuity of the classic car suppliers to build the rally car to survive.

We can't wait to get out on the open road with his Uncle Les & Kerry Blackney who are also member of the MG Car Club of Victoria. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as Lenny and I do.

Just picked up my first brand new car. MG3 2020 from Newcastle MG. Favourite memory so far is letting my sister in law drive it and she kept putting the windscreen wipers on instead of the blinders. Lots of laughs that day .

My car is a 1946 MG TC. I first acquired this car in 1967. Soon after I had an engine failure and the car sat around until I sold it in 1970 partially stripped. I was able to buy it back in 1990 as a complete "basket case". I set about a restoration and finally completed the car in 2008. I think the greatest moment was the the first drive after about 40 years.

Here is my 2020 MG3 Excite, at our home in Henley Beach South Australia. I took delivery of this little beauty about three weeks ago from Newspot MG in Salisbury Park. I got it on a promotional offer which included a discount for members and the footy signed by the 2020 Port Power AFL team you can see in one of my photos (not the team, the footy). Coincidentally the personalised plates arrived just in time to celebrate my team's minor-premiership victory over Collingwood. Now the whole family can pile in and we can drive the MG to the finals at the Portress (Adelaide Oval). I wanted to stand out, which is why I chose bright yellow. To make it a little more special I added the GT stripes (her nickname is Gelato). This speedy little get-around has been perfect for city living. She's a sporty and easy to park, luxury small car and I love her.

This is my 1971 MG Midget, bought her 5 years ago at age 19. An enjoyable ongoing project and have met many great people through my local MG Car Club. Located in Maitland NSW member of Newcastle MGCC NSW.

 To this day it’s travelled 198,000kms and still going strong.

Very happy with the car. All the bells and whistles I never had before.

My first experience of an MG was learning to drive in my mother’s c1950 black MG Y type registered RP 733.

Attended 5 National Meetings - 4 in the Eastern States and driven home across the Nullarbor. A nice change from the usual green colour!

This is my November 49 MGTD. This car is the 16th made and one of only four imported into Australia with the colour Clipper Blue.

Our first new car in our long lives! And it's an MG! WE LOVE IT! Thanks MG for building an affordable wonderful car that drives superbly and gives us a feeling of safety and pleasure.

Here is my 1970 Midget Having its first go around Phillip Island, approx 6 years ago. 

I recently added an MG TF 135 to my garage, and that is a lot of fun also. So much so, that I often drive it in preference to my BMW 420i.

Owned for 22 trouble free years, driven regularly on MGCC of Victoria activities.

Favourite MG memory is getting to race in the same event with my Dad, winning and doing it all with my best mate.

I purchased my 1950 MG YT on the 1/06/1996 in a dismantled condition. The previous owner had dismantled it to a bare chassis and then decided not to proceed. After about 5 years I was able to have it registered and take it for the first drive. This model MG is a very rare model as only 877 were produced.

Our brand new Baby. Kids wanted a Dog, Mummy wanted a MG...I Won. Love my New 2019 ZS Essence= Gold Coast MG are the best to deal with so professional and friendly. The memory I will always remember was seeing the kids faces light up when the sunroof popped open.

This is my 1956 MGA roadster being prepped at home ready to run at the historic Rob Roy Hillclimb located in the Christmas Hills, Victoria.

This is my 1950 Y Type, with the guy who built it at the wheel - Mel Fry. He did a stunning restoration, and it has been my very good fortune to have owned it these last three years. It still looks and drives as well as the day I acquired it. It is absolutely original right down to the sun blind for the back window, and the still functioning traficators. It has never let me down - never failed to start or stop, or put a grin on my face.

It is great when you can share your MG to create memories!

This is my 1959 MGA 1600 driving Lewis Hamilton in the Driver's Parade at the 2019 Melbourne formula one Grand Prix. The classic MGA looks quite at home chauffeuring the world's best drivers.

State Champion in 2015, 2nd in the national titles the same year, and on the podium in every race it entered for 12 years. I bought it as a road car which I enjoyed for a few years before converting it. It's the best value vehicle I've ever owned, bar none ???? I bought this car 1981 and drove it 650 kms to Port Lincoln for its first trip. It has won many class awards at MG National Meetings in concourse, motorkhanas and sprints it is still giving me lots of fun in competition.

1937 MG TA was a paddock basher 45 years ago with a holden motor, brush painted yellow. Since restored to all original colours as per shipping details when it came into Sydney. It has won many awards at National and Club Meetings, including motorkhanas and speed events. Now in semi retirement on the Central Coast NSW.

It’s not about what it is. It’s all about what it can become. When I bought my MGA, I wasn’t the least bit interested in British Sports cars. But after a few years of “fun” transforming it, this LBC (Little British Car) became something I really cherished. An Australian delivered 1958 MGA, the car lived all of its life from new in Perth until I purchased in 2012 (sight unseen) and had it transported to Melbourne. 6+ years later; here it is.

1995 MG RV8 all as per standard specs imported from Japan. Had 4000 klms on odometer, now 38000. Kept on the Central Coast NSW.

This is my 1960 MGA 1600. It was shipped CKD to Rhodesia in December 59 and registered there on 1 January 1960. It then moved to South Africa in the 70's, from where I purchased it in October 2003, using it there for two years on a number of long rallies to Mozambique and other MG events. It was then shipped back to the UK to join with my 05 ZR and other MG's in the Bush household in West Sussex. Being driven in Europe and all over the UK until it was shipped to Perth WA in 2013 where I now reside. Here the car is regularly used. It's first long distance trip in Australia was the drive back from the Victoria 2015 National meet.

This is my 1954 MGTF that I’ve had for a year now. My second MG and this one won’t ever be being sold. I think my favourite time in the car is picking up my young daughter from school. The photos here are taken in and around Daylesford.

Most memorable event was my first Blue Mountains drive in the MGA, soft top down, jacket, scarf and cap to warm me and just motoring through the cold blustering wind, with every sense sharpened by the cold and enjoying every second of the driving experience.

This is our 1937 TA, purchased as a Full restoration in February 2017. I drove it to the MG National Rally at Easter as Walter had a fall and could not drive. I was quite nervous getting to know the car as it kept pulling to the right. When Wal checked it out he found that a steering fitting had disappeared from the front axle causing the problem. It was hastily replaced for the Adelaide trip. It is a sweet little car that I enjoy driving. The following September we took it to the Gathering of the Faithful in Wagga Wagga, it took out most of the awards for the weekend.

I bought a brand new MY 2019 MG ZS Essence. I had to sell my Swift in order to get this car and honestly, I'm incredibly happy with my ride. I love to cruise in the big Blue all the time. I added the stripes to the bonnet last year to give it an original look. This car is a perfect get away car for any occasion, especially for long trips to Uni.

Here is my 1971 Mk Three Midget owned since new by our Family. I have only recently taken over the car from my dad who bought it new. A credit to his memory. This photo taken in August this year at Yarramalong valley just prior to changing the rego to historic plates.

1972 Daisy the MGB Melbourne.. One of the greatest memories is participating in the old historic hill climb at Rob Roy in Victoria. Another favourite past time is driving at dusk along the coast.. It took many months to find and eventually found as a Barn find in Country Victoria.

Picking up our new 2020 MG ZS from Albion Park MG 5 weeks ago. And now hubby has been adding a few things to it we love driving it and people commenting how good it looks.

I brought her from Northern MG in Melbourne’s Bundoora. I have added a little bling as you can see and have had the paint protection done and when she is washed she looks beautiful.

Our Freya (2019 MG HS Excite) turns heads wherever she goes, especially on her 2020 Father’s day excursion to Wamberal on the NSW Central Coast.

I bought my MG in 2018. My favourite MG memory is seeing the MGF when it was first released at the Brisbane Motor Show in 1998 and thinking how awesome it was. My second favourite MG memory is getting to drive this one for the first time after wanting one for 20 years!

1967 MGB V8 Tasmania. Built as a fast road car in the 80s by my late brother. Features a Leyland 4.4 engine , Jaguar Ind. rear end & upgraded suspension & brakes. Due to illness, the car laid in a shed for 27 years until I did a full mechanical rebuild last year to run at the Baskerville Historic Race meeting in Hobart & use it occasionally now. Favourite moment is competing in the inaugural Targa Tasmania with my brother in the MG in 1992.

This is my 1972 MGB it’s had a full rebuild over four years.

Myself and the team had the opportunity to test drive the new MG HS in both Sydney and Melbourne! We did a little food tour around both cities and loved how easy and smooth the MG HS was to drive. Who doesn't love a sports mode as well!

Love getting around in my MG ZS. When the weather is nice I usually start the day with training followed by an afternoon at the beach (sunroof open). All that boot space makes my coaching life so much easier.

Love is: Buying your fathers old 1979 MG Midget off him & restoring it back to a showroom shine! This car never fails to make me & others around it smile whilst driving around my home town in northwestern Sydney.

Always wanted an MG! So on the 4th of August this little beauty - MG3 Excite came to live with me on the beautiful Gold Coast! They really are a special car and so sporty to drive! We will have many a special time out on the roads!!! I call him Michaelangelo the MG - because he is a work of art!! Thank you to the guys at MG Southport for making my dream come true!

This is my 1968 MGB which has been in the family for many years. Whilst enjoying many local trips over the years, the trailer was built by me in 2008 out of a 1967 Mini, to accommodate a fridge and extra luggage for longer trips. Subsequently, it has had trips to the Great Ocean Road and later Tasmania, both of which were for about 5 weeks duration. The "B" has been a most enjoyable and reliable car.

Looks great on the farm in Oberon NSW, but just as at home in the city of sydney. 2019 ZS Essence.

I have owned this TD for over 50 years. It is a 1953 1250cc model and lived in the UK with me and my family until 2013 when we came with the car to Perth WA. I overhauled the engine in 1975 and am just doing it all again now. The car has done many MG Club trips in Europe and has been in regular use during my ownership. The hood has not been raised for only 14 days since 1976, a golf brolly is always stowed behind the seat, in case of rain!

MG TC 1947 Special supercharged club registered car I present- Henry, I have had may fun outings in this car, the best memory is every single time you take it out is the smiles you get from the kids and family's getting pure enjoyment of seeing a fun old school MG.

Driving my 1994 MG R V8 on country roads with the top down is always very enjoyable but my favourite car memory is driving around the track at eastern creek in Sydney.

Our recently purchased a 2000 model 75th anniversary MGF, looking forward to many Sunday drives around Hobart & Tassie, after all we do have some great driving roads ???? many great memories to be made.

Absolutely loved my time with the MG ZS! The boot was so spacious and perfect for the pram and all of our baby bits.

During my time with the MG3 we drove from the beach to the beautiful Hunter Valley. It was a gorgeous getaway and made so much better in this stylish hatchback!

During my time with the MG ZS, I had the best fun on little road trip up to Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches... don't think I can ever go back to driving a car without a sunroof!

So lucky to live in Bathurst, the home of motorsport. Loved taking my 2020 MG ZS for a couple of laps around the Mount. Felt like she was made for it!

My MG ZS Essence has seen the best of NSW, from snow fields to vineyards, from winter through to summer... The journey is always as fun as the destination...

This has been by far my favourite car ever. My MG has had so many adventures already! My sausage dog shadow loves going for drives in my car to the beach. This car hasn’t missed a beat, and has just returned from her latest adventure to Theebine. You’ll see me zipping around Rainbow Beach in my little blue machine!

This is my MG a 1948 Classic hope all current MG's will be around in 72 years..most memorable MG Moment..when I drove her for the 1st time, wind in your hair,and the realisation of how far we have come with modern day Vehicles compared to 1948...

Love the MG car and doesn't matter if I am pit-crewing or cruising with the top down, my favourite memory is just listening to the engine purr as it drowns out all the worries of the day.

This was my first MG, a 1971 Midget, which I got as a wreck and straightened out and resprayed. I took out 3kgs of bog that a company in Sydney put in while seam welding the rust repair sections at the rear of the front Guards. Also rebuilt the engine and took out all the silicone (I think they must have used the industral pack). Wonderful car and fun to drive. Best memory was working on it with my son Iain.

My favourite memory during my time with the MG HS was having a quiet picnic by the river in Northern NSW with my one and only.

MGF 1996 Race car

MG J2 chassis number 3003. The car was built in March 1933 and was exported to New Zealand in 1965 where it had three owners: Thomas Atherton, Robert Brown and Malcolm McMillan. It was exported to Australia 1977 where it was owned by Trevor Page and John Holliday. John undertook a comprehensive restoration of the car in 1998 and apart from routine maintenance and repair no further restoration work has been undertaken to the present. Favourite memory is driving the MG's and seeing the smiles and waves from the family and kids admiring the cars, and then the sensation of driving such fun cars.

The drive, the sound, the smell of the open road. Nothing beats a classic MG to loose yourself in the moment.......just to be in the moment. Best memories with this MGA........ Would have to be restoring it with my father over 5,791 days, yes 15+ years from day one of Restoration to Registration. The restoration began in 1990, finished in 2005 and the MGA has been going strong ever since.

My 1974 MGB. Love taking it on drives around in the Adelaide hills. One of last 200 chrome bumper models in the world.

I am the proud owner of a 1977 MGB that started it's life as a 1.8 and later converted to a V8, with a full restoration. It's a SD1 3.5 stroked to a 4.4 high performance machine. This conversion has really livened the performance of the iconic MGB, and is an absolute pleasure to drive, like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Best time enjoyed with the car are drives to the surf coast.

Just about the right time of year to get out & about in our 1964 MGB - hitting the roads around the Riverina, NSW.

My favourite thing about the MG HS is the kids being impressed by its cool features as the adults (ok maybe Riley not AS much) Particularly the sunroof (of course!) but even the safety 360 degree camera, the red leather interior - the push button boot - Nate had never seen a car so cool! His little eyes lighting up every time he discovered a new feature (same though, same) - I wish I could just bottle his enthusiasm!

My '64 Midget which I've owned since I was 16 (28 years). We've had all sorts of adventures with her; touring, showing, competing. Now my son, M.G. enjoys washing it, working on it and particularly going for rides in "Daddy's racecar!"

I absolutely love my blue MG3! Moving to Sydney last year, it’s just what I need for zipping through town and heading over to the beach. The rear-view camera is a lifesaver when it comes to parking anywhere.

Lovin my new MG3 Core. My favourite memory is when i picked up my new car. Due to covid19 I was unable to have a big bow on my car. So i bought my own. Taken in Regency Downs.

Might not be quite as fast of the mark but at least we can feel the wind in our faces. Favourite memory was when we spent 3 weeks road tripping around Tassie. As we are the only 3rd owners of our MGB, we know that it was originally purchased in Sydney then spent a lot of time in Hobart before coming over to main land.

3 month restoration, back up to concourse condition and then a head turner, PS fun to drive.

Pictured here in the beautiful Hunter Valley. During our time in the MG HS we had so much fun exploring the picturesque vineyards and sampling some of the Hunter's amazing local produce. We loved the HS and can't wait for our next road trip!

This MG is a Sydney city local. My favourite memory is the day i took it away as my own as this is my first new car and I love it.

My baby 2019 MG ZS Essence she is the Best Buy I’ve done yes I brought the extra for her I’ve travelled to see family from gold coast to as far out to Bourke NSW when you drive long distance the petrol is so good I have filled my tank an it went up as far as 800kg how good is that love it. The sunroof is great I love everything about the car!
